Public Assets Institute is the leading public policy organization in Vermont focusing on state tax, budget and economic policy. It provides rigorous, data-driven research and analysis to policy makers, advocacy partners, the press, and Vermonters through publications, presentations, social media, and other communication channels. Its annual State of Working Vermont is considered an indispensable resource for foundations, legislators, partner organizations, and others interested in Vermont public policy. Public Assets endeavors to bring an equity lens to all its work internally and externally. It partners with organizations led by people with disabilities, BIPOC, and LGBTQ people, and other marginalized Vermonters to improve the lives of everyone in the state.
