We also operate the world’s largest safe space, social networking site for LGBTQ youth and run innovative research, education, and advocacy programs. Overview of the Role

The Creative Project Manager is a newly created role on the Content team that will oversee the end-to-end delivery of a wide range of projects, from large brand campaigns to design toolkits to co-branded video content. This role will work closely with multiple internal departments to execute content that drives awareness for—and empowers—The Trevor Project’s life-saving mission to end LGBTQ youth suicide.

Reporting to The Head of Content, this role will lead projects to ensure assets are delivered on time and within budget. In daily collaboration with the content team, this role will work to define the scope of projects, develop timelines and milestones, determine priorities, facilitate reviews, and guarantee that project deliverable requirements are met. As the Creative Project Manager, you will work to streamline processes, optimize Asana, and implement new workflows into the organization. 

This is a highly cross-functional role that requires close partnership across teams to determine and understand organizational priorities and needs, such as propelling awareness for The Trevor Project’s life-saving crisis intervention services among LGBTQ young people, driving visibility for The Trevor Project’s LGBTQ-affirming mental health resources and research, and more.

What you'll do

  • Work with the Head of Content to help develop new processes within Asana that encourage efficiency within our workflows 
  • Review and assess incoming project requests provided by internal stakeholders to determine what content support is needed 
  • Coordinate and manage projects from conception through delivery, including but not limited to, converting requests into projects, managing deadlines, overseeing creative alignment, feedback and approvals, and ensuring timely delivery of every asset
  • Organize, attend, and lead kickoff and status meetings to ensure project expectations are clearly defined and communicated prior to and during project execution 
  • Develop and maintain a seamless quality control process to ensure accuracy for every deliverable trafficked 
  • Manage team members through change as systems and processes are built and codified in an effort to improve efficiency and adherence to standards
  • Serve as the liaison between the content and internal team to streamline expectations, provide status updates, and distribute project deliverables 
  • Oversee workload capacity within the studio and manage external resources when needed
