Position Summary
The Sr. Strategy Analyst will conduct analysis, research, and data collection to drive Upstream’s health center recruitment strategy and to inform Upstream’s annual and multi-year planning. Reporting to the Direct of Strategy, this individual will partner with Upstream’s Data & Technology team to develop reports and processes to simplify Strategy’s analysis and data collection. Additionally, the __ will provide coordination, communication, and project management support to contribute to annual and multi-year planning.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills with a flexible and creative approach to gleaning insights from complex, imperfect datasets. They should have the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and succinctly as well as strong interpersonal skills and high attention to detail. Strong candidates will have advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct accurate and thorough quantitative analysis and desk research to inform segmentation, ongoing recruitment success and process insights, and pipeline building and prioritization
Develop reports and data visualizations using analytics tools such as MS Excel to enable data-driven decision making in Upstream’s recruitment process
Partner with Upstream’s Data & Technology team to codify processes, reports, and dashboards to support Upstream’s Growth function
Compile, maintain and manage external data sets that inform healthcare landscape analysis in current and future Upstream states/regions
Create executive-level presentations to summarize and share data and insights from analysis
Provide logistic, analytic, and communication support to annual and multi-year strategic planning
Required Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Ability:
2-3+ years of analytical experience in management consulting, data analysis, research, or similar role
Advanced MS Excel skills and an aptitude for data and numbers
Self-driven with the ability to work independently, build things from scratch, and problem solve
Strategic thinker with a knack for breaking down complex problems and crafting innovation solutions
Possesses excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively
Strong project management and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to express complex concepts clearly and succinctly
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control in data analysis
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines
High level of proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and G-Suite
High degree of adaptability
Sense of humor
