Job Description

The Data Analyst will be responsible for leading the analysis (including collection and cleaning) of data across the Hadassah data landscape. This will include managing and analyzing sophisticated qualitative and quantitative metrics to measure progress across key strategic areas and using the data to determine how to advance strategic organizational goals.

 Duties and Responsibilities

  • Continuously review and document the data landscape and related processes. Identify all sources for Data Analysis and Information Center (DAIC) survey reports and data definitions. Includes review and maintenance of relevant data dictionaries and workflows
  • Help leaders to understand and craft metrics, track approaches, and answer their questions.  Educate stakeholders on the limitations of different data sources. Support the preliminary analysis/reporting for DAIC leadership data review meetings
  • Review and enhance DAIC and other surveys across the organization. Assess quality of survey design and submissions. Provide detailed analysis of results and executive-level summaries
  • Assist director in reviewing and improving the DAIC quarterly survey.  Help to build automated reports and dashboards, providing impactful key performance indicators to organizational leadership to drive decision-making
  • Manage and support analytical projects for leadership from programmatic analyses to financial analyses to projections and forecasting, informing decisions on resource allocation and help leaders monitor progress against organizational goals
  • Other duties as required.

Required Knowledge, Education, Experience

  • BA plus 3+ years of progressive work experience connected to data analytics
  • Degree in  Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Economics, International Development or a relevant quantitative field preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with organizational information and financial systems
  • Experience using business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Experience with data querying languages (SQL, Python, etc.)
  • Experience working with Salesforce reporting and SOQL is a plus
  • Able to set goals, plan and execute tactics, adhere to deadlines; self-directed, results oriented. Project management experience a plus
