Founded in 2017, Social Contract, LLC is a women and minority-owned social and collective impact consulting firm based in Wilmington, Delaware, serving clients domestically and internationally. Social Contract organizes our consulting products and services around five stages: discover, design, implement, measure, and sustain. Within these five stages, our team specializes in stakeholder engagement, facilitation, strategic planning, grant-writing, financial sustainability planning, implementation support, project management, partnership coordination, and organizational capacity building.

Position Overview
As a Senior Project Manager with Social Contract, you will work to ensure Social Contract operates with maximum operational efficiency throughout all business verticals. The Senior Project Manager is tasked with designing and building out Social Contract’s internal project management system, including processes and procedures, from its infancy to a fully functioning framework. The Senior Project Manager is dynamic and fluid, moving from assignment to assignment to direct priority projects and maximize client outcomes. This management will include, but not be limited to, internal project management strategy and execution, project outcomes and timelines, strategic internal resource management, and day-to-day coordination and leadership of project management operations, e.g., team, processes, and performance indicators. You will collaborate with and grow a creative, enthusiastic team to drive social change and help Social Contract grow. The Senior Project Manager will report to the Chief Business Officer.
This position will have a range of activities and responsibilities across the organization and will include the following discrete activities:
Aiding in the creation of clear and impactful company efficiency and productivity metrics
Aid in the building of organization-wide workflow efficiencies, ultimately monitored in a set of relevant productivity Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Developing, integrating, and managing internal best practices for company-wide project management, including identifying a suitable Project Management System (PMS); ensuring excellent project management through the development and oversight of the company's PMS.
Setting the company standard for Project Management through the development of policies and procedures for PMS adoption, and overseeing a change management initiative to onboard staff successfully.
Designing, developing, and/or procuring company project management tools; overseeing and monitoring the implementation and integration of project management tools to highlight project progress, and contract and management expectations.
Creating and maintaining a lean systems approach to tracking and maximizing consulting staff productivity vs. outlined project timelines and project quality controls.
Ensuring the company's verticals (specifically Impact) are operating at maximum efficiency and be able to address specific project inefficiencies directly and address any overarching inefficiencies in project management processes and procedures.
Managing and tracking department performance to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals related to company growth strategies.
Coordinating internal resources and relevant third parties to execute project tasks, directives, and deliverables in alignment with business growth goals and contractual commitments.
Maintaining a commitment to excellence, operational productivity, and strategic growth.
Taking direct leadership over and understanding client and contract cycles, and ensuring the team is accountable to those commitments.
Aid staff in developing personal work plans to manage multiple high-priority tasks and priorities.
Manage assigned team members with grace, accountability, and integrity.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
General Requirements
To excel in the Senior Project Manager role, the team member should be an insightful and creative leader who can manage competing priorities and diverse perspectives, navigate multiple projects at once, and quickly acclimate and guide strategic efforts. The applicant will be proactive, resourceful, and demonstrate strong initiative.
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field
Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or similar certification
Master’s degree in Project Management (preferred)
7-11 years of experience in project management, including project management protocol design and implementation.
Experience, knowledge, and skills in a suite of project management tools.
Demonstrated knowledge and skills in and/or quickly adapting to using technical tools including a variety of PC applications (Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Zoom, Slack).
Exceptional written communication skills and clear, concise, and warm verbal communication.
Excellent conflict resolution skills
Demonstrated ability to effectively build trust and constructively work through difficult conversations
Proven ability to solve problems creatively
Familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices preferred.
Excellent analytical skills
Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
Able to work between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm EST
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
