I-TRI CEO JOB DESCRIPTION
POSTION
The CEO of i-tri is a passionate leader with an entrepreneurial spirit who can drive revenue and lead expansion of the organization locally and beyond. Direct reports include COO, Chief Program Officer, marketing/PR consultants (or executives)
RESPONSIBILITIES
EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP
· Provide strong leadership skills in development, fundraising, marketing, strategic planning, financial management, HR and Board relations
· Lead annual planning process in setting yearly and long term goals with defined accountability
· Lead long term strategic planning process and its execution
· Build exceptional, highly functional teams
· Communicate and work closely with the board to promote sound decision making and fundraising
FUNDRAISING/RELATIONSHIP BUILDING
· Drive and lead a fundraising strategy to meet or exceed goals
· Drive identification, research, and solicitation of foundations and individual donors
· Oversee grant writing
· Serve as a proactive spokesperson with diverse audiences including foundation boards, community leaders, donors, board and staff
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT OVERSIGHT
· Provide fiscal management oversight that operates within the approved budget and insures maximum resource utilization
· Provide oversight to annual budget planning process
· Provide executive committee with monthly financial statements which include qualitative analysis of overall financial position
· Ensure compliance with federal and state financial regulations
MARKETING/PR/COMMUNCATIONS
· Oversee development of marketing plans and budgets
· Oversee relationship with marketing agency that manages social media, mass email and other communications
· Oversee all PR activities and PR professional
· Oversee successful execution of all i-tri events
PROGRAM OVERSIGHT
· Oversee the development, implementation and evaluation of i-tri programs to ensure the highest quality experience and outcomes for a diverse population
· Oversee the development and implementation of cost-effective systems and processes to meet current and future organizational needs
· Oversee Human Resources people process including goal setting, employee evaluations, and a compensation and benefits strategy for all employees (HR)
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
· A bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree in business, finance, law, non-profit or public administration is a plus. Dual language skills (Spanish/English) also a plus

· Proven track record in development and leading significant revenue growth
· A senior executive with a minimum of 5-10 years of management experience; 501-C3 and or nonprofit leadership experience a plus
· Proven ability to manage effectively and nimbly in an entrepreneurial environment with limited personnel; must be able to clarify responsibilities and delegate
· Proven ability to prioritize without distraction and be willing to take intelligent, calculated risks
· An ability to create a strong positive culture; grateful for the opportunity to help others
· Proven ability to attract, leverage and communicate with a diverse and strong board
· Must be able to be present on the East End of Long Island a minimum of 3 working days per week
