The Just Trust seeks to hire an experienced Marketing & Communications Manager to support all aspects of the organization’s external communications and brand marketing efforts. This role will work super cross functionally and in collaboration with all members of the TJT team.
The ideal candidate is a master strategist and jack-of-all-trades project manager with technical expertise in a broad range of external communications work, including: content development, messaging and writing; media relations; digital media & channel management; events strategy and execution; relationship management, and fundraising communications. They are a strong writer with experience drafting everything from speeches and talking points to social media and newsletter content, for a variety of audiences. They ideally have firsthand communications experience in advocacy, movement building, and/or a campaign environment, and have worked directly with development/fundraising teams on collateral, impact/annual reports, and other materials development. They love being proactive but know how to react with precision. They are excited by the idea of supporting a small, scrappy, hardworking team focused on big, big challenges. And, they love storytelling and making creative ideas come to life to support social change and organizational sustainability.

Please note this is a full-time, temporary role for one year, with possibility of extension.
The person holding this position may also work part-time for a coordinated project, The Just Trust for Action, a 501(c)(4) organization, under a resource sharing agreement between The Just Trust for Education and The Just Trust for Action. The responsibilities under that position will be overseen by The Just Trust’s CEO.
This is a full-time, temporary role for one year, with possibility of extension. The salary range for this role is $110,000 - $140,000, depending on experience.
