We are looking for an innovative, experienced and accomplished Senior Director of Information Technology to lead our technology and digital services business unit.
This is a hybrid role, requiring in-office presence 2-3 days per week located at CCAoA’s national headquarters office in Arlington, Virginia, reporting directly to the Deputy Executive Officer.
Summary of Position:
The Senior Director of Information Technology is a strategic partner with Child Care Aware of America® (CCAOA’s) program staff and organizational leadership to develop, maintain and enhance day-to-day online presence, web-based, client/server applications, and cloud servers and the overall information technology services, infrastructure and strategy for CCAoA, its partners and key stakeholders (families, CCR&Rs, child care providers and states.) The primary responsibilities of the senior director are to support and contribute to CCAoA's programs and initiatives by maintaining CCAoA's information systems, including various technical infrastructures, systems and servers, desktops, laptops, and phone systems.
The Senior Director of IT will be responsible for managing CCAoA’s existing IT infrastructure and systems performance to assess solution viability, operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics to strengthen CCAoA’s internal capacity to build, procure and maintain relevant solution software to advance critical outcomes for children, families and child care providers. They will support overall IT governance of the modernization scope to ensure alignment with DoD contractual requirements, CCAoA business rules and industry standards for administration of public assistance. They will also support the organization with the identification of software solutions to accelerate, modernize and automate current business processes to strengthen service-delivery to child care providers and families served under the military fee assistance program, and reduce CCAoA’s long-term dependence on internal IT development and custom build.
