Washington Trails Association is seeking a versatile and proactive Salesforce Administrator who is committed to leveraging their technical skills to support our mission. This role is essential to ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of WTA's Salesforce platform while also providing broader technical support, including light system administration and staff training.
As the Salesforce Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Salesforce environment, ensuring data integrity, and providing technical support to staff. The ideal candidate will have experience in Salesforce administration, light coding (particularly with VisualForce), report generation, and data security. Additionally, this role involves assisting with general system administration tasks, technical troubleshooting, and creating documentation and training materials.
This full-time, non-exempt, position reports to the Information Technology Senior Manager and is based in Seattle, WA, with the flexibility to work remotely on designated days.
Primary Responsibilities
Salesforce Administration: Manage and maintain WTA’s Salesforce platform, including routine database management, customization, and optimization
VisualForce Programming: Develop and maintain custom VisualForce pages and components as needed
Reporting: Generate reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights for WTA's staff and leadership
Data Integrity: Merge, de-duplicate, and manage data within Salesforce to ensure accuracy and reliability
User Support: Provide technical support to staff, manage user permissions, and troubleshoot issues as they arise
Training and Documentation: Develop and deliver training for staff on Salesforce and IT best practices; create and maintain comprehensive documentation
System Administration: Assist with light system administration tasks, including managing user accounts, permissions, and other IT-related duties
Location and Schedule
The Salesforce Administrator is a full-time, non-exempt position based from WTA’s Seattle office. WTA has a hybrid work model with at least 2 days of work per week in-person at our Seattle office. Some evening or weekend work may be required to support critical system updates or organizational events.

Compensation starts at $33.65 - $38.46 per hour, depending on experience. This role has the potential to go up to $40.86 per hour with time and demonstrated success in the role.
