Job posting for Executive Director, Living Legacy Project, Inc.
Mission-driven nonprofit organization committed to dismantling racism and systems of oppression through experiential education about the Civil Rights Movement in the U.S. seeks a part-time Executive Director. Responsibilities include leadership and program development, fundraising and financial management, oversight or management of online programs, organizational management, strategic communications and board relations. Must embrace core values that include capacity to learn, grow and change; kindness and compassion; commitment to justice; problem-solving; and good humor. This position requires experience in leadership, financial management, and nonprofit operations. Skills in budgeting, fundraising, technology, staff oversight, and high-level marketing strategy are essential. Prior experience working with boards, managing programs, and guiding organizations through strategic growth will set candidates apart. The Executive Director is a half-time salaried position (20 hours/week), which includes FICA and paid time off for holidays and vacation.
