And we partner with social entrepreneurs, philanthropists, and cross-sector leaders to shift how the philanthropic sector pursues social change and ensures that everyone in America can thrive. Since 1998, New Profit has invested over $350M in 275+ high-impact organizations serving more than 35 million people in all 50 states.
What You'll Do
At its most fundamental level, the Investor Relations team exists to ensure the financial sustainability of New Profit, by managing the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of philanthropic investors within the New Profit community. We build and maintain partnerships with New Profit's individual, corporate, and foundation supporters and are proud to identify and create a network of engaged philanthropists who add meaningful contributions to – and, in return, benefit from - New Profit's broader community of social entrepreneurs, policymakers, and thought leaders who are motivated by the practice of trust based grant-making.
As Partner, Individual Giving, you will help us to grow our community of investors by building deep trust-based relationships based on shared values and a belief in the potential of social entrepreneurs to find and scale the solutions that will transform our society. The Partner, Individual Giving will engage, solicit, steward and cultivate a portfolio of 100+ qualified donors and prospects, focusing primarily on transformational six- and seven-figure gifts. The Partner, Individual Giving will serve as the key link between New Profit's incredible investor community and the rest of the New Profit staff as well as our amazing social entrepreneurs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with philanthropists seeking to make significant philanthropic investments, and will be motivated by building deep, long-term relationships with donors. They will excel at guiding donors through the complexities of strategic giving, offering educational support to deepen their understanding of impact-driven philanthropy, and fostering collaborative partnerships that align donor values with organizational goals.
