Senior Consultant

The Senior Consultant at Consero Solutions leads complex client projects, conducts research, develops policy recommendations, writes and edits grants, manages budgets, prepares reports and meeting materials, and supports community engagement and capacity building efforts. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem solving, and takes pride in high-quality work that produces measurable community impact. The Senior Consultant will engage in mission-focused work with visible, tangible outcomes as part of a small, supportive team with direct access to leadership. The Senior Consultant also will learn about California policy issues, environmental stewardships strategies, and organizational management.

·       Ability to maintain confidentiality and oversee sensitive information

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Slack, Canva, or similar tools

Compensation & Work Environment

·       Salary: $85,000–$100,000, depending on education and experience

·       Full-time, exempt; some evenings/weekends required

·       Generous vacation, sick leave, and holidays

·       Office located in downtown Davis; hybrid potential after training

·       Role requires travel within California
