The Organization BCAN was founded in 2005 and is the premier national advocacy organization devoted to advancing bladder cancer research and supporting those impacted by this all-too-common disease. The mission of BCAN is to increase public awareness about bladder cancer, advance bladder cancer research, and provide free educational and support services for the bladder cancer community. Each year, BCAN provides thousands of patients, caregivers and the medical community with the educational resources and support services they need to navigate their bladder cancer journeys. Support resources offered by BCAN include its robust website with hundreds of pages about the disease, twice-yearly in-person patient and caregiver summits, webinars, podcasts, print publications and its Survivor to Survivor program.
