About Us: LGBTQ Allyship is a social and economic justice organization that works with community to create systemic change to benefit marginalized communities, such as LGBTQ+ people, immigrants, women, People of Color, youth, seniors, people with disabilities, and working-class individuals. We have a dedicated board, interns, volunteers, and staff striving to create structural change to better the lives of the most marginalized in our communities.
Our Mission is to build power among LGBTQ+ communities and allies in Washington State to achieve economic, racial, and gender justice. We educate and advocate, do community organizing, and build grassroots leadership in solidarity with other marginalized communities. Our work identifies commonalities within different racial, economic, and gendered communities and uses those intersections to make us all stronger as we fight for justice.
