Hospice Giving Foundation is an independent foundation established in 1997 that believes in living fully and dying peacefully. Our community-based support promotes personal choice, preparedness, and the highest standards of compassionate, dignified end-of-life care for individuals and their loved ones. HG Foundation provides leadership and direction for the long-term community health movement to help ensure exceptional end-of-life care is available to all people across Monterey and San Benito Counties.

HG Foundation services include being the primary funder for EOL services – granting more than 28 million dollars locally since 1997 - and providing extensive public education on planning and preparedness, understanding options for care, effective communications, as well as professional continuing education. HG Foundation works closely with funded agencies and partners to establish a more integrated model of care that benefits individuals with terminal illness, families, caregivers, and health care professionals/organizations.
