Princeton in Asia (PiA) promotes mutual appreciation and cross-cultural understanding between the United States and Asia through immersive work fellowships in host organizations and communities.

We believe in the power of person-to-person diplomacy and strive to shape a world where individuals share a mutual appreciation and respect for our planet’s diversity of cultures and perspectives. Since 1898, we’ve placed over 3,400 people in immersive fellowships and internships in 32 different countries throughout Asia. The cross-cultural understanding developed through these posts actively and effectively builds bridges between the U.S. and Asia.
