AfriKids believes in the rights of all children, everywhere, and that they should be valued, protected, and met by all. It exists to make this a reality for children in northern Ghana where more than half of all families live in poverty and 1 in 16 children die before their firth birthday.

Our health, education, and child protection programs are designed and run by local people, for local people, providing sustainable solutions to keep vulnerable children healthy, safe, and in school - now, and in the future.

Friends of AfriKids, Inc is AfriKids' sister organisation in the USA, set up to leverage transformational funding for the work of AfriKids from US-based individuals, companies, and grants.
