MAMA HOPE nurtures the work of community-led organizations around the world. We help to ensure that they have the freedom and the resources they need to change lives in their communities and build a better future for generations to come. We also provide a platform for their voices to be heard through the cultivation of a global community of individuals and organizations advocating for their work, for the use of ethical storytelling and for the adoption of community-led practices.

Mama Hope's mission is to Champion Community-led Change. We believe that those closest to their challenges are also the best placed to implement solutions. We currently work with 12 community-led organizations across Africa and in Central America to support their journey to self reliance. To do this we offer flexible funding and encourage investment in sustainable, income generating projects with a view to seeing our partners have the independent income they need to support long term change in their communities. Since 2008, we have invested $4M directly impacting 280,000 people across 9 countries - in Education, Health, Livelihoods, Women & Girls, Children & Youth, and Human Rights - providing access to 2.5M people across the world.
