"Youth Development Through Community Partnership"

For more than 22 years, Para Los Niños has provided alternatives for children and families through an expanding array of services that not only address basic needs, but also focus on long-term solutions to complex problems.

We began by offering child care to a few dozen preschoolers who otherwise had no one to care for them during the day. Over the years, we have enlarged the scope of our vision to include services for children of all ages and their families.

From 15 locations in Southern California's poorest neighborhoods, Para Los Niños serves more than 1,300 children ages 6 weeks to 18 years each weekday — and more than 3,500 families each year.
