Launched in 2007, the Partnership for Los Angeles Schools’ mission is to transform schools to revolutionize school systems, empowering all students with a high-quality education. The Partnership is a non-profit, in-district partner to LA Unified, not a charter network. As an independent nonprofit organization, the Partnership serves 13,550 students across 20 LA Unified schools in Boyle Heights, South Los Angeles, and Watts. The Partnership works within the LA Unified School District context, which includes honoring all collective bargaining agreements for its teachers and school staff. Vice President of Family & Community Partnerships

The Partnership is seeking a Vice President of Family & Community Partnerships. The Vice President will be responsible for developing and implementing a vision for intentional family engagement and community partnership initiatives for our 20 Partnership Schools. The Vice President of Family & Community Partnerships will be accountable for the implementation of strategies to meet individual school site needs, as well as network-wide goals. The Vice President will lead a team of ~10 full- and part-time staff and will be responsible for managing and coaching the team to set and achieve their goals. This is a full-time, year-round position.
