Futures Without Violence seeks a skilled, mission-aligned Controller to lead the organization’s accounting operations and steward its financial integrity through a period of growth and innovation. With a $23 million annual budget and $85 million in net assets—including two related real estate entities and the forthcoming Courage Museum—this is a pivotal moment in FUTURES’ financial evolution.
The Controller will manage all accounting functions and staff, oversee the financial close and reporting processes, manage the annual audit, and ensure internal control, compliance with applicable regulations and best practices. Reporting to the CFO/COO and working closely with the Director of Grants and Contracts Administration and the Director of Museum Finance, the Controller will serve as a strategic finance leader and thought partner within the organization.
This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned nonprofit finance professional who brings both technical expertise and a collaborative mindset. The ideal candidate will be energized by the challenge of modernizing systems, mentoring staff, and contributing to the long-term vision of a highly respected organization with a bold, expanding mission.
