EXECUTIVE SUMMARY Over Zero , a fiscally sponsored project of Hopewell Fund, was created to prevent and address political and identity-based violence and underlying risk factors, including dangerous rhetoric and scapegoating, threats to democracy, and polarization. We have a particular focus on the role of communication as a powerful tool to either drive or counteract these dynamics. While predominantly U.S.-focused, we have roots in international peacebuilding and atrocity prevention work.
