ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION AND THE ROLE : The Executive Director (ED) is the chief strategist and innovator responsible for the overall leadership and management of Meals on Wheels Yolo County (MOW Yolo) – an independent, nonprofit organization founded in 1975 with a mission to nourish and engage seniors in Yolo County, California. MOW Yolo is the federal Older Americans Act senior nutrition and socialization provider for Yolo County, and performs its mission in compliance with related requirements. Currently, MOW Yolo serves ~1,200 older adults with ~5,000 meals a week and operates a 5,300 square foot institutional meal production facility to do so.
