Hope for Single Moms is seeking Hope Strategists to serve in a board governance role, providing strategic leadership, oversight, and advocacy during a season of organizational growth. Hope Strategists help advance our mission to empower motherhood, remove systemic barriers, and create pathways to financial stability for single-mother families.
Responsibilities include guiding organizational strategy, supporting financial sustainability, serving as ambassadors in the community, and contributing expertise to committees such as governance, finance, fundraising, or programs.
Board service includes approximately nine virtual monthly meetings, two in-person meetings per year, and one annual four-hour strategic planning session. Hope Strategists play a key role in strengthening systems that support long-term impact for mothers and improved outcomes for their children.

Previous board or advisory board experience preferred
Professional experience in one or more of the following: finance, workforce development, business, education, fundraising, governance, legal/HR, community leadership, or faith-based advocacy
Willingness to actively participate in meetings, committees, and organizational advancement
Opportunity to use professional expertise to create generational impact
Board leadership experience with a growing, mission-driven organization
